Blog on.

I was told by my friend and fellow writer Cor Hospes to get my blog up and running. “You look like a Neanderthal without it,” he said. And he was right. He informed me that I had to start my own blog today. I'd written dozens of blogs for my clients and watched them grow all the more for it. So here I am. At my keyboard. Blogging on.

I’d forgotten all about it until someone in the clubhouse asked the question as to why they needed a blog. This is what I answered with, knowing I was really telling it to myself:

-You need your blog to leave a trail on the internet.

-You need a blog as your personal notes area (this is your space and you can do anything with it).

-SEO just loves blogs. You can write long blogs and use target keywords.

-You’re establishing authority with your blogs and enhancing your professional image.

-They can work as your resume. You’ll be viewed as someone with expertise in your area.

-Stop aping around and get on with it.

There. That’s my blog put to bed for this week. TTFN.
